RAMÓN Ferrer Prada (culestret@gmail.com) is a sociologist and researches for the CIMAS network. He develops specific training programs for media in the Third Sector of Communication through the Federation of Free and Community Radios of Madrid (URCM), in agreement with the General Directorate of Youth and Sports of the Community of Madrid and the School Of Animation. It has also organized specific courses and workshops on community communication for young people in the Network against Gender Violence in the Community of Madrid. His research and productions focus on the development of the Third Sector of Communication as an active agent in the implementation of specific programs and its application as an educational tool in the field of Social Intervention (young people, women, groups risking social exclusion). His field of study also includes audiovisual experimentation. Since 2007 he has actively participated in processes related to the construction of participatory media (Morocco, Colombia, Madrid, etc.). Since 2008, it has been leading participatory processes through community media for local development. He has published articles on the field of political participation and communication in various media. He is a member of the Training Committee of the REMC (Red Estatal de Medios Comunitarios).
